Couple of tricks if you want to play with it:
👉 Add a pinch of salt + a little extra powder — brings out more body.
👉 Froth it (steam wand or hand frother) — texture gets much closer to what you’re used to.
👉 Some people blend it with a date or a splash of nut butter if they want that extra creamy kick.

But I love that you’ve already found your own groove with it — ice cream, porridge, smoothies, travel… that’s exactly where the powder format really shines. 🙌

Hey Amy 🌾 thanks a ton for the honest feedback 🙌. Just to clarify — when we say “2 scoops,” we mean the little scoop that came in your kit, not regular kitchen spoons 😉. That’s about 50 g of powder for 500 ml of oat drink.

The ratio on the pack is just a recommendation — a lot of people (especially coffee drinkers) go a bit heavier for a creamier texture. A pinch of salt can also bring out the natural oat sweetness, kind of like seasoning food.

Happy you find it pleasant and convenient — and even if you like a slightly richer mix, it still works out about the same per cup compared to good quality carton oat drinks — just without the waste or additives 💛.

Thank you so much for the kind words — we’re really glad you find Oatentik surpasses the supermarket oat drinks 🙌. You’re right: once mixed, it should be kept in the fridge and used within about 3 days, and washing in hot water keeps everything nice and clean.

We also hear you on the travel distance — and that’s something we’re actively working on. As we grow, our plan is to set up local hubs so the product doesn’t have to travel so far. 🌍

That said, one small pouch replaces 8L of cartons, and the weight/volume is tiny in comparison. Even if it ships from 300 km away, it’s always traveling together with thousands of other parcels — so it’s not like all that distance is just for one pouch. 😄

Thank you, Nathan 🙌 Great feedback. If 3 scoops hit the right note for you, there's a good chance your taste buds are simply used to a slightly stronger flavour. But you can just as easily go back to 2 scoops per 500 ml — that's roughly 10% oat concentrate, while 3 scoops is around 15%.

As you say yourself: a pinch of salt really does bring out the flavour too 🌾.

The most important thing: this is the cleanest, purest form of oat drink around. The beauty of it is that you can tailor it completely to your own needs — cooking, baking, coffee, smoothies… you're in control. 💛

About the pancakes — funny timing! Just yesterday I made some for my son and my wife. At first they both said they weren’t that hungry, so I made a base for about 8 mid-sized pancakes. In the end, I only got to eat one myself because they loved them so much. 😅 One little tip if you try: the type of flour matters. I used Manitoba flour (the same one used for those famous pizzas here), which gives the pancakes a super fluffy structure. Just keep an eye on the pan — they can brown quickly. 🔥🥞

Many people who were used to richer, barista-style drinks with oils/salt find they like a slightly higher concentration at first.

On price — I hear you. Compared to premium carton oat drinks (often ~3,5€/L here in Slovenia), we’re right in line, but because ours is pure oats + enzyme with no fillers, and packed in small-batch pouches, the cost/kg looks different. As we grow, our goal is to scale production and improve shipping terms so we can pass those savings back to you.
