OATENTIK Partners,the terms.

All of it, in plain English. These terms cover the OATENTIK Partner Programme, in which a registered business introduces new customers to OATENTIK and is paid a flat fee for each one.

  1. Who can join

The programme is open to registered businesses in the European Union, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Norway: an s.p., a d.o.o. or the equivalent in your country, holding a tax or VAT number that lets you issue an invoice to a company in Slovenia. Private persons cannot take part, because payment is made against an invoice and there is no other way we can pay you.

You take part in your own name and cannot pass your place, your link or your code to anyone else. We answer every application, and we do not have to give a reason for declining one.

  2. The reward

€12 for every new customer you bring, flat, whatever they order and whichever country they order from. One payout per customer, ever. Repeat orders by that customer, subscription renewals and orders by people who had already bought from OATENTIK are not paid.

The €12 is a net amount. VAT follows your own status and the rules that apply to you: the reverse charge may apply to a business invoicing us from another country, in which case you invoice without VAT. We do not advise you on that, your accountant does.

  3. What qualifies

A qualifying order is the customer’s first paid order in the whole OATENTIK order history, matched by email address, with a product value of €25 or more after discounts and before shipping.

A qualifying order also has to stay. The reward clears 14 days after the parcel is delivered, or 14 days after it was sent when the carrier never reports a delivery, provided the order has not been refunded, cancelled or returned in the meantime. Only cleared rewards go onto a statement.

  4. What does not qualify

    • Orders by a customer who has ordered from OATENTIK before, under any email address we can match to them.
    • Your own orders, orders to your own address, and orders by the household you live in.
    • Repeat orders and subscription renewals, including the second order of a customer you were already paid for.
    • Orders below €25 of products after discounts.
    • Orders cancelled, refunded or returned inside the 14 day hold.
    • Orders counted for another partner. One order is counted for one partner only.
    • Orders that arrive in a cluster: more than three from one device, or more than five on your code inside one hour.
    • Test orders, orders paid by us, and orders we can show were placed to earn the fee rather than to drink the product.
  5. Attribution

A customer is matched to you in one of two ways. They open your link, oatentik.com/?ref=YOURCODE, which keeps your code in their browser for 30 days, or they type your code at checkout. If the two disagree, the link the customer opened wins, because that is the path you control. If someone opened more than one partner link, the last one before the order counts.

For this we store your code and a random device number in the visitor’s browser and nothing else. We do not build a profile of your audience, and we never pass their details to you.

  6. The gift to the customer

Your code gives your audience one OATENTIK Matcha 300 g free with a first order of €25 or more of products. It is a gift added to the order, not a price cut, and it does not combine with another gift or campaign code on the same order.

We can change what the gift is, with the same 30 days notice as the rest of these terms.

  7. Statements and invoices

On the 1st of each month we email you a statement for the month before. It gives the month, the number of cleared customers and the amount due. Ask and you get the same customers line by line, with the order date and the country. Neither carries names or email addresses, because those belong to the customer.

You then send us an invoice for that amount, quoting the reference the statement gives you. If you think a statement is wrong, tell us within 30 days of receiving it and we go through it with you.

  8. Payment

We pay a correct invoice within 15 days of receiving it, by bank transfer in euro, to the account named on the invoice. There is no payout threshold and no monthly minimum: one customer in a month is one line and €12.

Bank charges on your side are yours. If a customer on a statement we already paid is refunded afterwards, that amount comes off your next statement.

  9. Disclosure duty

Every post, story, video, newsletter or page in which you use your link or your code has to be marked as advertising or a paid partnership, in the language of the post, in a way the reader sees without looking for it. This is the law in most of the markets we ship to, and it is not negotiable.

  10. Prohibited practices

Each of these ends the partnership and voids any reward still in the hold:

    • Ordering through your own code, or arranging for family and friends to order through it to earn the fee.
    • Posting your code on coupon, voucher or deal sites, or in browser extensions that insert codes at checkout.
    • Bidding on the OATENTIK name or misspellings of it in paid search, or running ads that look as if they come from OATENTIK.
    • Buying followers, engagement or traffic to the link.
    • Claims about health, illness, weight or nutrition that we have not given you in writing.
    • Calling the product milk. In the European Union this is an oat drink, and the dairy word cannot be used for it.
    • Anything else that misrepresents the product, the price, the gift or the programme.
  11. Ending the partnership

You can stop at any time by telling us. We can stop the partnership at any time by telling you, with the reason in writing. Rewards already cleared are paid on the next statement, and rewards still inside the 14 day hold are paid once the orders behind them clear normally, unless the partnership ended because of section 10.

When the partnership ends, your link and your code stop working, and the gift they carried stops with them.

  12. Changes to these terms

We can change these terms with 30 days notice, sent to the email address on your partner account. Changes never apply backwards: customers already counted are paid at the terms that were in force when they ordered.

If you do not accept a change, tell us before it takes effect. The partnership then ends on that date and everything earned up to then is paid normally.

  13. Contact

Questions about the programme, a statement or an invoice: info@oatentik.com. We read these ourselves and normally reply within a few days.

We keep your application, your business details, your statements and your invoices for as long as the partnership runs and afterwards for as long as the tax rules for invoices require. With the application we keep a one way hash of the address it came from and the browser line, so the form cannot be flooded. Write to us and we tell you what we hold, and we correct or delete what we do not have to keep.

The short version of all of this, with the examples, is on the partner page.
